For those who do not know, Gemilang is a UKM Library Catalogue. It’s been used extensively for research purpose.
UKM Library Catalogue(GEMILANG)
The catalogue is used to locate books, serials and other materials owned by the library. GEMILANG is the name given to the UKM Library Online Catalogue, updated daily and accessible from any networked computer.
The Library collections encompass more than 1.4 million volumes of books, bound journals, government documents and media in various formats.
Materials in the Library are classed and arranged on the shelves according to the Library of Congress Classfication Scheme where symbols consists of a combination of letters and numerals.
Bibliographic information of the library materials can be accessed by author, editor, title, subject and call number. It also provides patron’s record via user ID and password.
